When daylight comes

Falling asleep to your steady breathing, the beat of your heart, the warmth of your skin. Waking up to see you smiling back at me on that same pillow with both our eyes barely opened.

Moments like these, like time is at a standstill and I could just let it stay that way forever, I wonder what I'd done in my past life to deserve this, deserve you.
