Advanced V'Day/ Anniversary 130214

I felt very much loved today and appreciative to Jerome for his thoughts and effort put into this day just for me.

As I was drafting out this post in my head, I was brought back to when we first started dating and all the blog posts from ever since, the first ever being my blogging about his goodbye peck upon alighting from our bus, of which that post was in anonymity as I referred to him as "cutie" (yes haha, my memory is that good). I recall my decision to post in anonymity out of fear that it won't last long and will just turn out as short-lived as my previous failure but really... We've come so so far together. 

This blog has more often been my outlet for negativity than positivity so unknowingly, I may have put Jerome in a bad light by blogging whenever I felt shitty from our quarrels but really, which relationship is all smiles right?

I really treasure all things good and even more so bad. Especially when we quarrel but thereafter, decide to initiate in letting go of our parachute of pride to make peace with each other. As 2 egoists filled to the brim with stubbornness and pride, this really takes a toll on both of us. With love comes sacrifice, and this is but our expression of love. 

Today, Jerome woke up early for his 2 consecutive driving lessons, after which he went home to rest before heading out to town before me just so he could source for dining choices. He even bought me a pair of Marc Jacob earrings to add, the same design as his just in a different colour, saying "Now we can be twins!!" Hahaha cuteness overload from my loving thoughtful boyfriend today!

So thank you Jerome, for not just today but really, all things good AND BAD for the past >1 year, from our dating phase till now. My love for you is a bottomless pit! 

May everyone have a blessed day filled with love and joy tomorrow, just as I have today!
